About

Eve

For Eve Lofthus, DDS, paying attention to the bigger picture of each patient’s overall health is key to excellent dental care. Following her dental school education, she continued to advance her training at the prestigious VA Medical Center in San Francisco. With extensive training in advanced surgical techniques and complicated cases, Dr. Lofthus is known by patients for her kindness, gentleness, and light-handedness in procedures. She has a unique eye for cosmetic cases and is known for striving for excellence. She also ensures that she’s available for every patient post-procedure to meet any questions or concerns with thorough and prompt replies.

Dr. Lofthus has been practicing in San Francisco for 6 years. She finds the most gratifying part of her work is small oral improvements that make a patients life and oral health better. She prides herself with being personable and solving any patient concern.

With a background studying journalism, Dr. Lofthus places a focus on open and honest communication in her practice, building relationships and treating each patient as she would a friend or family member. She maintains the highest level of attention and care for all patients—whether they are in need of a large procedure or are coming in for a routine cleaning—and aims to get to know each on a personal level.

Dr. Lofthus was thrilled to join the team at Washington Square Park Dental for its mission-driven approach to dentistry. She’s proud to work in a progressive, high-quality care environment that employs the latest technologies. She also enjoys the collaborative work environment, participating in the rigorous Spear Study Club with her colleagues to stay up to date on best practices in the field.

After studying journalism and chemistry during her undergraduate education, Dr. Lofthus earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Missouri, graduating with honors. She then completed residency at the San Francisco VA Medical Center in advanced dental cases, full-mouth reconstruction, implantology, and oral surgery. Dr. Lofthus and her colleagues are members of the Spear Study Club in San Francisco, a rigorous and prestigious nation-wide continuing education program.

Personal Interests

Originally from the Midwest, Dr. Lofthus loves the weather, nature, people, and diversity of the Bay Area. In her free time, she plays violin in the San Francisco Community Orchestra and loves to cook Greek food with her husband for friends and family. She’s currently learning the Greek language.
